    Secret Fishng Map
Map loading may take a few moments...

The map below contains the secrets men have killed for. No, not the location of the lost gold of the Sierra Madre nor the location of the sister ship of the gold laden Spanish Galleon 'Atocha'. This treasure is pure gold, sometimes silver in color and most definitely can come in the spectrum of a 'Rainbow'. Yes, it's the world of Megalops atlanticus (Tarpon), Albula vulpes (Bonefish), Oncorhynchus mykiss (Rainbow Trout) and many more that we all search for. Start your search and enter your secret locations!

More on The Secret Fishing Map:

As you've seen, this map contains the highly sought after locations of the best fishing spots in the WORLD! Members of Fish n Clips Magazine (that's you) have scoured the depths and shallows in search of the hottest fishing in all nooks and crannies of this planet and in between. Know of a hot spot? Want it all to yourself? Too late! Anglers keep secrets about as well as buzzards hide a road kill. And you can bet that if no one knows about it, there's no fish.

Take this opportunity to spread the word or just hide your fishing spot a little better. Check out some of the directions on finding the existing hot fishing spots and you'll see what we mean.

You can also locate yourself on the Secret Fishing Map for your fishing partners to find so you won't be waiting til way past sun up for them to pick you up - because they were lost - and miss all the day's hot fishing.

To place locations on the map you have to be logged in. So get started with the hot gossip on the next hot spot for those huge bows or that underwater canyon where the marlin patrol.

How it works: You can zoom in and out from the world view down to street (or creek) level. The map defaults in Hybrid View showing both the satellite and road view. This view helps you see the actual shot of the area plus identifers like road names, etc. Start with the world view and zoom in until you are at an altitude that lets you recognize the immediate area. Now you can zoom in until you identify the local terrain. Once you have the creek, lake, your home, the ocean bottom trench identified; click on the spot you want to mark and a "question mark" will appear locking in the coordinates. Click on the marker and a small window will open. This is where you'll enter the Title and a brief description of the location plus the secret details (example: Title: Bent Creek, Info: Hi-Lo County or Title: fisher89 Info: Home in Atlanta). Please note that you can drag the marker to fine tune the coordinates or just click on a new spot to set a new anchor. Play with it and discover the fun of looking at your fishing spots from the air. Check out what others have added to the "Secret Stuff" file and add your own witty comments.

Enjoy and thanks for letting us in on the new Secret Fishing spot! We promise, we won't tell a another soul.
